Billericay has been Mayflower's home for over 20 years. It is a commuter town at heart, with direct trains to Liverpool Street, a High Street full of independents, and Lake Meadows drawing the families at weekends. Our drivers know every close and cul-de-sac off Stock Road and Mountnessing Road.

SS13, SS14, SS15, SS16

Basildon is the big neighbour, one of south Essex's largest towns, with c2c trains reaching Fenchurch Street in about 35 minutes. Our drivers work it daily and know the quick ways between the A127 and the A13, from Eastgate over to Festival Leisure Park.

SS11, SS12

Wickford sits neatly between Basildon and Rayleigh with quick trains to Liverpool Street, which keeps it popular with commuting families. It is a short run from our Billericay base and we are in and out of it all day.

Ingatestone is the smart village end of our patch, Tudor hall included, and it keeps a main line station with direct Liverpool Street trains. Billericay is ten minutes away, which makes it naturally ours.

Pitsea holds the southern corner of Basildon, with its own c2c station and a market that still pulls a crowd. Bowers Gifford and Vange sit alongside and get the same cover.

CM4

Stock is the pretty one, green, pubs and all, sat between Billericay and Ingatestone. It is five minutes from our base and we treat it as home ground.

SS15, SS16

Laindon has its own c2c station on Basildon's western side and sits under Langdon Hills, which hides some of the best views in south Essex. Regular ground for our drivers.

Langdon Hills climbs south of Basildon to the country park at the top, where the view runs clear across the estuary. We work it as part of the Laindon patch.

Great Burstead hangs off the southern edge of Billericay, Norman church and all. For us it is barely a different postcode, covered exactly like the town itself.

Shotgate strings along the A132 between Wickford and Rayleigh. Small place, quick links both ways, and well inside our daily rounds.

Horndon on the Hill earns its name, a hilltop village with the Bell Inn at its centre and the marshes spread out below. We cover it from the Stanford-le-Hope side.

Hutton sits between Brentwood and Shenfield with the Mount at its heart, and both Elizabeth Line stations within a few minutes. Station and airport runs dominate our work here.

Pilgrims Hatch covers Brentwood's northern side, a short hop from the A12 and the town centre. Airport pickups from here slot easily into our routes.

Ingrave guards the gates of Thorndon Country Park just south of Brentwood. Small village, big park, steady stream of our cars.
